Latest entry on Brijit…Pushing Daises

Reanimator –

Amid the duds that annually make their way to the TV grid, Franklin hails Pushing Daisies, penning a glowing review of ABC’s fairy-tale comedy. She runs through a list of the show’s influences, from Tim Burton to Roald Dahl — all appropriate for creator Bryan Fuller, who also mixed mirth and macabre in Dead Like Me and Wonderfalls. However, the praise becomes a requiem as Franklin predicts that the show may be too good to last; like Fuller’s previous work, it could go the way of all flesh.
